Music has ben effective in helping supporting mental health.  It has been shown to be distracting from overwhelming thoughts and also lower stress.  Music also allows many people to feel their feelings.  It can help articulate emotions and feelings that may be hard to speak on ourselves.  Co-founder Jake Danielson talks on the importance of music in his life.  "Music may be the most powerful thing when I think of my mental health.  It is truly the one thing that has always been there through everything.  Music means everything to me.  The power that just one song you connect to can do can be truly life changing."
